Went to Silverwood last Wednesday from about 2-6 with my brother. There were people on either side of us who weren't even getting bites. I sort of felt bad but I've been on the opposite end of that one before.

We caught seven trout in all (all caught on nightcrawlers). I also caught a sculpin and a largemouth bass. My first one ever. The limit is 15" and it was close but since I didn't have anything to measure it with, I just threw it back. Didn't even get a pic with it either. Oh well.

Here are the pics:

Nice trout, Rob! I saw three guys in Kayaks bring in a few nice trout last week at Silverwood, but not from shore.

Nice job on the trout. How was fishing through the weeds/moss???? Was it bad, I haven't been up there in a while.

I'm glad you threw the bass back. That equals a fat fine.....plus most the people there would have taken it regardless of size. I cant tell you how many times people have asked me to give them the bass I catch....as I throw them back in the water.

Wow! Trout-alicious! Nice sizes too. Definitely have grown since the last stockings.

Thanks! The weeds and wind seem to be a big problem on the Cleghorn side of the lake. But we were fishing on the Sawpit area which is much better. The spot does have several downed trees underneath, but since we've been there a few times we know where to plunk it down.
