Ive been trying to get out fishing on the tradition all week but people have been making reservations and not showing up so we didnt make it out until Saturday, but here is today's report.
We fished Catalina Island where we experienced a wide open bite of the elusive Calico Bass. Epic fishing was to easy to be taken advantage of by those who could flyline a bait or fish a plastic in the Forrest of kelp. there were also plenty of barracuda Sheapaheadoo and other bottom grabbers for anyone targeting those with a surface iron or a single strip of squid on the bottom.
Our bait consisted of sardines, anchovies and live squid

Steven caught these quiality models on rubber lures
get out there and end the lives of some bass!!!!!!!
