overcast skies..tried lots of top water ..but found not love..
did quite well on the drop shot..used my favorite 3 colors..

best part as I was fishing got serenaded by a pair of flying snakes..
there as two cobras flying around doing what looked like dog fighting..man that was cool
to hear all the sweet racket..while chowing down and nabbing some bluegills...
cheers !!

What size tracker do you have? I have a 16' and thought about a drift sock. Wind + light boat = crappy day.

Nice BG'S And very nice bass. Yeah I've been wanting to pick up a drift sock for my Crestliner. Did you get one that you can adjust with the drawstring? Or is it a standard sock? There are days at DVL that I would of loved to have had a sock, hard to work finesse in the Liner on even mid wind days let alone when the wind is movin pretty good. I have used the old 5 gal bucket before when drift or slow trolling, I've even landed a few slab crappies with the bucket instead of the net kinda by accident but it worked LOL.

I have a drift sock for my 16 ft alum. It works well drifting cut or lead head style baits. Works well drifting carolina rigged bass worm too. A good investment!
