Bassin at the Vine 7/15

Went yesterday and great weather day as the temp stay cooled all day and the normal blisterly hot as usual this time of year. Lake temp was 72-76 and stayed mostly in the Flats. Got two early morning bass going 1.5 lbs and thats all. Shad balls all over and I am sure all the fish are being fed well is not all the birds and their babies. Hot weather coming this week and watch out for the weed growth especially around trout island as I got tangled up pretty good, had to beach and pull all the weeds from around the prop to continue. The bite picked up as the sun went down on 7/14 Thursday evening. Left them biting some big ones too.

That is what I was told by the dock guys also but have never spent the evening after fishing all day. I need to do that soon.
