Big BGs still biting but it's mostly females in the 9” & 10” class. Some pre and some post spawn. Jigs with crickets and 2lb test line. Release rate was waaaaay up with some super nice prego females.

Still pretty much the same thing today - hardly any males. Spawn time. Water temp backed down to the mid 70s (weird). We caught A LOT of big (9" & 10") fish but couldn't keep them - preggo females.

Nice fishes. Sorry to hear about the preggos. Just give them another month or two. They'll be done with their eggs laying. Then, the fun of keeping them begins! The temperature has indeed gone wacky lately. But, the feeding period during luna/sun peaks are increasing. Too bad we can't get in there before 6am to fish, because sunrise is around 5:45am. 90 minutes window is everything. But, we still have the 11am to 3pm, 5:45pm to 10pm opportunities for sunset and lunar peek. Keep fishing for those panfishes! Switch over to cats for those late hours too.
