hit up the vine today with my dad for their super saver thursdays. got there late around 1:00pm. started out in santiago flats. i got 1 hit around 2:00pm. from then on it wuz dead all day. moved around to a couple other spots for nothing. i thought for sure we were guna get the :Skunk:. sure enough our last spot produced pretty well. we had 0 cats from 1:00pm to 7:00pm. but at 7:30pm my dad hooked up the first 1. nice 2 1/2lber. he threw his rod in again and in a few minutes hooked up another one same size. a lil later another. then it wuz my turn. it wuz wfo after that. long story short we ended up the night with 8 cats. all fish ranged from 2 -2 1/2lbs. lost a few more. otherwise we would have caught limits. all fish were caught in about 1hour and a half. it wuz still a fun night and we will be making some more trips soon.
