I never thought i'd see the day... LOL

Just cuz I can't swim, suffer from hydrophobia and will need 3 telephone books to prop me up so I can sit above the water line, give me two good reasons why I shouldn't get a tube?

:-D

TJ,

I have a Caddis that a good friend of mine let me have. The thing is, after the first and only test run, it was kinda 'big,' which made me sit really low. I've used a FatCat before, and sititng high makes the world of difference. I don't want to get turned off by being uncomfortable for hours on end, which will turn me off of tubing, which I haven't really done.

Can't wait to see the spinning rod! The stars are slowly aligning for my creation I'm having you make.

Wtf.......

I'm gonna use it to get towed behind Big Ed's Champion at DVL when it gets hot. Relax! U know I still <3 you.

Well, the initial investment for one.

And two, i think the portability factor is what is making a float tube a much sensible choice.

Those pontoons are bad as§ tho.

Personally if you are looking to keep yourself elevated above the water a toon might be a better option. Just save your dinero and invest in one of those. Also I believe they do have a cart or something to make those toons a little bit easier on portability? I also think there safer too.

Trnspo and set up are PITA with a toon... Get a Tube DS....

I totally love mine, I got the ODC 420 for a couple of reasons...
They do have larger ones for Higher ride... But ODC is perfect for all my ventures..\
Used & price was right.
Has 2 main Bladders for safety.
Boston Valves are easily accessible while on the water.

Go for it man, I know you love it with all the shore pounding you do!!!

I've got one of these bad boys in the garage. Sits you up high and gives you something to hang onto when it gets windy out there.

I liked when I owned the fish cat four deluxe LCS model with inflatable seats.
Now there, my friend, was a good float tube.. as far as comfort and cushion adjustability while on the water.
Ride height I believe was better than the regular fish cat four due to the air in the seat bladders.
If not, you could always put the old foam nasty seat blocks back in.
