Sublime Steve, Topwaterbassin and I went camping for the weeknd. The water was really clear and there was lots of grass in the water as well as floating debris. Water temp was 73 in the morning and about 77 by noon...really good conditiond overall. We ended up having a great weekend from my boat and shore. Steve ended up landing a 5lbs and a 5.5lbs...great job! Mark landed a really long and slender 4lbs'er as well. I ended up with my biggest at 3lbs 10oz...not bad. Overall I think we caught about 30 fish....great weekend again. Check out the smile on Steves face...hahahahaaha!!!!3154231543315493154831547315 443154531546

We fished drop shots mostly......we do have a video of our friend Mark hooked up with a 10lbs carp!!! He caught it on a drop shot Robo...lol. No bass busting shad but the carp were busting like crazy.

sounds like you guys had a blast! I'm hoping to hit LP nest week. I have to take some time and give the dropshot a chance

Yah man for us topwater early striper hunters those dang carp can sure be misleading until you see the big fat orange bodies flyin' through the air!! I agree with the DS, but I also was scoring here and there with a T-rigged craw type pattern. The are spooky though. I could see them running away from my spinner bait.
