I would like to know how to catch a halibut off the surf or pier, and any tips to catch corbina. Also provide me on the specific bait, recommended line/rod, and anything else that is useful to help guide me. I will be fishing were there will most likely be a lot of people swimming. Also how far do i need to cast out to catch the surf perch.
