Crappie and other pan fish

I have caught Sacramento Perch at Lake Crowley but have never fished for them in local waters. I know at Crowley we used Berkley Atomic Teasers tipped with crappie nibbles bounced off of the bottom near rocky cliffs and banks.

Does anyone have any tips on catching the crappie and other pan fish here at Irvine Lake? I am going to try and get out there on Sunday if the stars align and everything works out.
