NPH - Sunday June 26th

Quick report, fished a few hours Sunday from 10:00 to 2:00 on the kayak. The AM bite was quite good with small halibut and spotted bass hitting the Gulp minnow fished on a small jig head. Missed our first 4-5 fish, however, and probably batted about only .600 after that. Lots of short biters and missed strikes. The bite seemed to die after 12:00pm when the overcast burned off. Water was a bit murky with very little current. Lot’s of fun and very relaxing. Overall, a very nice day on the water. Here are some pix -

Nice going out there. Looks like I left right when you got there LOL. I was fishing from a float tube. The water was ripping when I was there.
