How often is it to catch a trigger fish at the break water. first trigger i ever caught just wondering if anybody else got one before. this one was caught on 4th of july 07.

i believe so my brother took it. i think he ate it already and he isnt dead.

triggers make some of the best ceviche ever
ive seen them caught here and there in SM bay, wish i could get one though

They are rare around here, they prefer warmer water. Still, you will see a few caught each year, especially as the warmer waters come up this way.
