Fishing Vacation Ideas??

Looking for ideas for a place to tow my boat with my RV to bass fish, sight-see, and camp.
Preferably the closer the better but Central California would work (I live in Encinitas).
Too hot is not good so later in the year would work especially points east of here.

What are some of your favorite places to go where bass fishing is good and the scenery is too?

I would steer clear of Naci and San antonio because of the heat at those two lakes. Besides Lopez is better anyway
