Finally found some time for a Seabass trip !
Rode on the Toronado Tuesday 6/21/11 for a shot at some WSB .
We headed straight to Santa Barbara Island . Now i for one like to
get my beauty rest ... lol ... When im awaken buy someone with a
flashlight down in the bunk room , WHAT THE ... @#$% !!!
Its MTwiz telling me , WAKE UP ! everyones already up and fishing.
Who the heck fishes before 5am ... lol
Fast forward - pretty uneventful other than some bottom fish , so
we head over to Catalina in the afternoon. Seems some of the other
boats got a few , so hopes were high !
We get there around 2:30 and join the rest of the fleet , made a few
drifts but just never panned out. Earl from 976-tuna was on the boat
and landed the only wsb of the trip.
But hey , weather was great and the beers were cold !!
