Fished from rental boat with girlfriend from 7am-5pm. All Red ear........ only1 Bluegill?? ...... Bait used, red worms and crickets......most fish caught before noon but kept fishing till boat had to be back at 5pm......all fish kept were approx 7-9 in.......Good times at Lake Perris....Having fun trying to learn where the fish are and how to catch them........wish I had started fishing years ago......so much to learn and so little time......

Hopefully I'll learn how to make pics smaller......but not tonight this has taken way too long already..LOL

Nice! So how sun-burned are you and the GF? That's a long day bro... All that sun, and wind. Kind of wipes you out. And then you have to clean the fish... But it's worth it! Hey no on-the-lake pics?

dude nice fishing! did wayyy better than when we were out there. seems like multiple trips out have taught you where the gillies are!

Learn how to fish jigs & 2lb, you will be home before lunch, with lots of BG.

Very nice haul. Must be pretty expensive renting those boats all the time. Time for a bit of investment on a two persons pontoon or kayak..or even a peddling boat? :LOL: Inflatable raft still good. Like fishmounter said, you two must be cooking in the sun at 102°F today.

We use custom pour/tyed jigs from 1/80th #10 & #12 hook to 1/24th #8 & # 6 hook. Last two seasons the BG and RE have been hitting a bellyspinner style jig really well. Been messing around with some really lite rubber legg jigs, using Tectan 2lb, and whacking some large BG.
