got to the water by 10;30am monday with my 11 years old doughter and fished untill 2pm and got some stripers and LMB action...
stripers were in 40ft of water on sardines and the LMB closer to shore and rocks in 8 ft of water...
weather was very nice untill 1 ish when the winds came up but not to bad...
not too bad for our first trip to Castaic, I think its only gonna get BETTER...

I was there with a buddy of mine. He caught a striper at 11:30 AM before we rented a boat. Didn't catch anything on the boat.

Great job on your end!

Where did you get the sardines?

allways fun fishing with your children. my son and daughter and me fished alot when they were younger now there in there 20s and both have a hard time freeing up time but they all ways ask wene are we going to fish i tell them anytime :Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin:
