Been to busy with work and too many Bday parties on the weekends I havent been able to get out much....Pops had back surgery so I wasnt too sure if this trip was going to pan out...So after talking with my pops and readin the Bako Boys last thread it was decided to head on up the road to see what we scrounge up.....Man this lake left me scratching my head!

Long story short, we covered the whole lake from North to South to back up North, round and round and round, no Stripey could be found!! Boils you say? I think you Bako Boys hit your head! Or too much Jim Beam left you seein things!!!! Lol....

Water temps ranged from 77-80 on the north end to 75-78 down south....Scattered markings here and there but no go. Birds were scarce too!I did manage to find a HUGE bait ball out in the middle of the lake but no Stripey markings near it....

STILL TOO EARLY I SAY, BUT WE HAD A GREAT TIME NONE THE LESS!!!

Managed one of these! CPR

Then pops got on another small but it got off right at the side of the boat! real eased itself!

Saw a few of these along the way but they didn't give us much luck....

We also saw a Bald Eagle which was really cool!!!

Had a great Fathers day even though it wasn't too productive!

Till next time,

See ya on the water.....

Switched up colors a few times, depth too, just not too deep as no down riggers...We fished structure and open water, both at the north end and the south....couldn't really find too much on the finder either, just stragglers here and there...They were hiding from me pretty damn good! I'll be back for them. Heck if I can't fish that often I might as well head on up there when I do have the chance to fish!

Good luck next week, hit me with an update if you get a chance!

I think the trick to San Antonio is to go there with T/O.
