Tilapia

I will be doing the 24 hour fishing tomorrow night at corona. I usually leave really early the next morning, but this time i wanna stay longer to try and catching some tilapia. Never caught one before, does anyone have any good tips or spots? I know that ur supposed to use half of nightcrawler and a bobber, but don't know if to cast far and any spots.

when i went to corona lake the tilapia was biting next to the boat ramp and next to the doc. They are biting with wax worms too with a bobber. Thats the spot i know they were biting.

how far are you supposed to put the bobber from the hook, or should i say, from the little weights?

i will normally put the bobber like 18-24in that has worked for me with the wax worm n nightcrawlers.
