I heard today that this Saturday night the Pudd will have another all night fishing time. It runs from 7:00 pm to 4:00 am, and it costs $10.00. Fishing is only on the East shore.

Yeah. What I understand is that the cats hide out in the day and prowl for smells after dark. I caught a seven and a half pound cat at the Pudd after dark after the warning to leave at 9:00. I heard that they did put stockers in June 1, and I know one person who caught some after dark, but I have only heard skunk stories about the last all night fishing they held.

Yeah, I'd much rather get skunked for $10 than $22 and have to drive to Corona to do it. lol

In addition to cats I'd expect (bluegill, redear, crappie). From my experience at the Pudd they stop biting right at dark, but that's also when they have run me out of the park. I googled to see what experience others have had catching gills at night, and most posts say they bite well at night. I'd take some light gear for the gills, and maybe some light up floats or clip-on glow sticks, but they are not necessary, just fun.
