Sand bass WFO!!!!!!!

Sand were wide open last night. went out on the nautilus from newport landing first stop we got nada then moved close to emma ( the oil derrick) and capt yells out "guys i havent seen this many fish in one spot all summer if we dont get our limits here i quit". sure enough bait wouldnt even make it to the bottom on the way down half the time and "hook up". lots of quality fish 3-4 lbs with only a few sub legals my guestimate for my self was prob 35-40 legals for the night passed out allot to the kids fishing on the boat nice light load too only about 15 people by the end everyone had there limits. Sorry no fish porn my buddy forgot the cam.

Yeah, it seems that the Sandies have been on the chew at night for a while now. But they still have yet to spawn during daylight time!

yeah we fished a fews plastics didnt see anyone else doing it though. Pretty much anything was getting bit as long as it had scent on it i tried gulp shrimp in nuclear chicken and gray, 3" bh swim baits in anchovy, and some scampis in chartruse and pink. They were pretty much bitting anything you put infront of them.. used uni butter on all the unscented plastics.
