Just thought I'd share yet another pic.
Caught this one this morning about 45 min into the session.
This time however I was fishin' solo, so netting it was a little trickier but nothing too challenging.
The fish was released to fight another day. Hopefully we meet again :Cool:

Nice fish. No need for the net. Simply grab them by the bottom lip. I try not to lay them down to help protect their slime coating. Glad to hear you release them.

Actually holding LMB by their lip isn't good for the fish at all.
Doing so hyperextends their jaw tissues and it makes it hard for them to close their mouths tightly thereafter.
Slime can be quickly secreted by the fish shortly after it's release back into the water compared to having to heal a damaged jaw and possibly making feeding a much more difficult task than it should be.
