yeah, just like all the 20lb trout at sarl are cought on chartruse nitro lol. Rapala is one of the oldest lure companys but the only decent bait they have are the xraps and rattle traps.

i like rapalas but sometimes they dont swin right they twist and turn and its a pain. i tihnk bombers are better but the cd5 and the broke backs are great lures when they swim right.

I''m sorry but the Rapala DT-6 and DT-10 are major ownage. They always work when I'm in the kayak or tube. If not the Xrap will.

You gotta tune your rapalas to get them to swim right.

To be honest, I have to tune every single bait I get now days to work right weather it's a plastic or a hardbait or a combination of both.

The only rapalas I ever liked were the husky jerk, the jointed shad-rap, and the X-rap..

Husky Jerk is good at night when the topwater bite is on. My major gripe, is they rise WAY too fast after the dive...

But you get what you pay for! Instead of buying 5 raps, I'd rather get an LC :LOL:
