Looking for a boat maybe a Boston Whaler...Not trying to spend more than 5K...prefer a four stroke and that I can take to DVL...send me what you got no real beaters please

sweetfish.. that would be great for a family fishing as its got tons of room to walk around. motor alone is worth it.
Stopbigging ...good luck finding a good fishing boat with good 4 stroke.

I wonder if he wants aluminum or fiberglass. I love my aluminum boat. 16' its light ( i can move it by hand on trailer)and with my 40HP i can be on the water almost all day long on 6 gallons. and I can troll right at 2mph or top out at 25mph. but I am looking at a trolling motor just cause idleing for 6hrs is not the best for the 2 stroke..
also i would stay at least 14ft or bigger. once you get one or two more guys in there. space goes fast with coolers and gear. I think That deep V lund is the way to go. see if he'll take off the motor or come down a bit and just suck it up and put a nice 4stroke on it.

Actually, for off shore and inland water boats going out of California is the way to go.

I've brought 3 Mako center consoles and two Ford pick-ups back from Texas
