Hit the surf at 7:30am Sun morning and it looked promising. Quit a few anglers attacking with sand crabs. I was throwing my LC110 Flash Minnow, of course with the GG Akahara Iwasi touch added to it. I headed north towards Hermosa pier working the pockets, receiving only one good hit that ran my line for about 15 seconds. I knew the enemy was there! Headed back south on Recon when SLAM! ENEMY ENGAGED!! Right at my feet on the retrieve! It was short (21 1/2") but it put big Grins on the faces of my fellow anglers that were throwing SCs. I was using 20 lb braided with a 12 lb flouoro-carbon leader. I was gone by 10:00am. It was a good day not to get skunked! Thank you to all the FNN members for sharing your ENEMY counts and engagements. It helped me in preparing for my first assault on the enemy!

Nice work SP Dan! btw, for what it's worth, you could tie the lc straight to your 20lb braid without any adverse effects on the catchin' part of the fishin'. With the LC being a reaction bait, the butts dont really notice the line attached to the lure! Slightly less drag setting and you're good to go!
