Hit the beach 6:30 to 8 pm. Too much head wind to get the LC going so switched to the Krocadile. No Doormats but did C&R 3 YFCs.

I noticed a loop in the spool so I cast it far then backed up 40' to let line out. Fixed the problem then started to reel in the slack then 'Fish On' After a 5 minute fight this wing hooked Bat Ray about 16" wide shows up on the sand Lol

It's always cool when you are a fixing a problem, with your line out, and then when you go to reel in there's a surprise on the other end...:Big Grin:

Got some big time high tides in the late pm starting. Surf was small and barely breaking.
Eel grass almost every cast. Water clarity looked so so.
