With the river conditions excelent and nice 75 degree weather I decided to take an hour and get my trout fix in. Weekly stockings continue and a load of trophy trout were just planted as well. I fished from 10am till just after 11am so no need to get up early. I walked down to the beach and found the river to be vacant of the crowds that were here over the weekend. I felt like I had the river all to myself. something I haven't experienced since winter. The fish were in a cooperating mood as well. I ended up with 8 fish in an hour. Sizes ranged from 6" to well over 20" and two pounds. All fish were caught off my beach at the Lodge saving me a trek up and down the river. Bait of the day was good old Power Bait. River flow is low (2800cfs) and clear.
Smallest of the day
