Sebastes Slayfest on the Looper 6-4

Got a last minute call from my good buddy Martin “the looper”, to do some fishing in Santa Monica Bay. Martin’s step-son David also joined and he had a blast telling us “knock-knock” jokes and reeling in Rockfish

We went exploring for some different Rockfish spots, some which were void of fish and other that were loaded with fish. It’s such a rewarding feeling when you finally find a spot with a bunch of quality size biters.

We caught an assortment of Rockfish including Greenspotteds, Honenycombs, Speckles, Starries, Bocaccios, Browns, Coppers and Vermilions, plus some Sand Dabs.

My biggest Brown Rockfish of the day along with David aka Mr. Knock-Knock...lol! :lol:
