Went to DVL thinking stripers and the old LMB pull got us.Got to the lake around 7am,pulled my buddys boat out of the storage lot,on first spot by 745am.
My friends boat is not set up for fishing,but hes a nice guy and is just learning so I have to be patient,hes coming along.
Anyway we find an area I've fished other times and we anchor in about 10ft,and start slinging the plastics,4"worms6"worms and senkos 3-5",in that one spot we ended up with about 14fish,no pigs but all the fish were from 2-5lbs,one 5lb3oz being the biggest,ended the day with 20fish,and two friends catching there first lbms on plastic.Oh yeah also on decent redear.By the way all the decent fish came by casting into the deep water 20ft or so and working the worm back to the 10ft spot,cast toward shore 5ft or less and we got dinks.
