Yes all catch photo and safe release:) i just fish hard! last week while it was windy was when i got bit the most. I had 1 on topwater and came off as it got near shore easy 5lber but 4 lbs test setting the hook is hard haha. Thanks for the Welcome Most of the worms i used i dipped it in bite on garlic and i was amazed on how the bass hung on. If ya ever see me around stop by and say hi or something! all fish were fished with 4 lbs test for sport :)

I was at the lake a few weeks ago and those Redears/Bluegills were pretty darn spooky. Was the one you caught an aggressive one or also rather spooky?

It was aggressive because I seen a whole school of them too! they were making beds near the tree

I dont know if you know an asian guy and a lady but those couple are so persistent on asking me for my bass! I'm not sure what language they speak but they sounded like they were talking smack because didn't give them my bass. They actually followed me as i move around after 8 bass in a row and still ask for them. I would think they have learned to just not stalk me haha but they did me no harm so just wondering if you encountered them at the lake before?

Oh yeah definitely. They have some passible tackle while each carrying a bucket right? A few months ago I was at a spot where I pulled 6 little runts in and later when I returned to the spot the guy asked me if I had any success and I declined to mention it. Evidently though there was a guy with his girl who pulled a nice 2lbr as soon as I told the Asian guy that the spot I was at was dead. It was a little frustrating because I left that spot where the Asian couple later set up shop to fish.

I had my fair share of skunks also! For me I like to try funky colors to see what works best. Sometimes that makes all the difference between fish biting and not biting. I have to say that scent plays a huge role in whether they strike or just ignore. I know bite on garlic is a trout scent but trust me it works for bass also. I am not sure how but I tried to fish some days with scent or without scent and i found that on especially cold days it works best by provoking the lethargic bass into biting the worm because it's so tasty! haha

That's Ontario's Guasti Regional Park, right off Archibald Ave..my family goes there all the time to play at the water park, while I do my thing at the fish hole. Way too hot for that hole right now..cats are in action late in the day. Trouts..what the heck happen to them all?

Oh, Asians love to eat those basses. Make sure smile at them when you hold the basses to their faces, and continue to smile as you gently slip those basses back into the water..oooohh..they will love you for it as they pull out their cleavers

The high reeds belongs to either Puddingstone or Chino Prado. The blue peddlers belong to both Puddingstone and Glen Helen. The flat nearly treeless ground is Guasti.
