June Trout Fishing just dandy at the Vine

November through May are generally the best months when it comes to Trout fishing here in beautiful Southern California but June! June has just begun and the trout fishing shows no sign of slowing down for anglers fishing both bait and trolling in specific areas at Irvine Lake.
Team Woodward has they like to be called have been having a field day trolling around the lake the past few days. As you can see from their reports they have been doing quite well. Here is there limit today!

Team Woodward also managed to land a beautiful Brown Trout while on the lake today.

Phil Hildebrandt was tossing a jig in Woodys Cove when this 7.0lb Rainbow Trout. Phil also managed to land some Catfish and Crappie today as well.

Also this dou of Mark Thomson and Charles Woodson managed this gargantuan 37.9 9 fish stringer while soaking nightcrawlers back in the flats. WOW what a stringer!

So when next week bring your trout rods along with your Cat rods because the Salamonids are still chewin. Cant wait for night fishing to begin as well? Who will bring in the biggest cat of the year? Will it be Ronson, Bluehunter or maybe Bullets_Full? Or will it finally be NVCatfishtracker's year? Or will the man the myth the legend Trollmeister regain form and reign supereme? Let's not forget the Queen of Catfish Ms. Elaine Dickerhoff? Can she fend of the masses and regain her crown?
