Took the kids to school & since the wind wasnt blowing to bad we decided to head to the lake & see whats was biting.Headed to the N/W end of the lake & tossed out some PB on 3 different lengths of leader. My Mrs got a bite with in 15 minutes but missed it & same for me couple minutes later. We hooked up a total of 12 times today but only landed the 5 & decided to keep em since freezer was empty.
We got the smaller ones on 2-3ft leader but the bigger ones hit on 5-6ft leader & all but 1 was lip hook. All in all a good day fishing & farming & weather is great.Hoping to see the crappies to really start showing soon.
Oh Yea almost forgot I was hooking up my other pole when the fish in the net dragged my pole off the bucket & into the water I almost had to get wet lmao. Get the thing in & its just hooked by its broken jaw/lip hell of a fight too. Mrs had to grab a pole for me on 2 occasions because of double hook ups.Great day with my babe.
Let me try this again lol

Good times with the Mrs and a nice stringer. Were they the red meat hold-overs?
Seems the fish have moved off of the point. The past few weeks have been slow for me also there.

Nice report...I saw that pic in Wed Grizzly of that 10+ pounder caught. Actually, was a decent looking trout .

Nice job, Cameron!!!

F-in-Law Jim left yesterday after hitting another big day with 10+ on the troll. He said they were marking bigger fish deeper just about every part of the lake, and he was catching everywhere from the East launch to the west buoy line.

Cheers,

Eric

LMAO u & ur trophy trout blow my mind bro , I never have seen anyone pull huge trout out this lake on a regular basis lke u do.

Yes great looking meat on these fish I gave a couple to my elderly lady across the street. She cant get out to get her own so I share when she craves it has to be better than soup right.
May hit the lake again today before I bottle my brew looking to be a great weekend whos coming up ?
