Prices are discounted everywhere....Shimano is comming out with a NEW version of the Curado 200 along with new versions of the Crucial and Clarus rods!

I scored big time at the one in Norwalk, they had a huge selection of crucials as of 12:30 when i left.

I guess I wasn't kidding that at this rate, they'll have a $300 Curado Z by Christmas time.

Word is that the Curado and Chronarch are going to be merged into the same frame with a lower price point. Theres actually a photo floating around of the new chronarch 50, black and white.
It sounds like they're trying to smooth out their pricing levels.

Yep..the curado at the 150 price range and the chronarch around the 199 range.

It's going to be sad if the Curado are going to be made at a lesser quality. It sounds like they're bumping down the curados and placing the chronarch there. Only two more months to see.

I hear you there! I had a few of the "E" series curados and hated them....sold them off within a week of using them. Thank God I kept my older "D" series....IMO alot better reel!
