Stayed up in Kern for the last 3 days drinking beer, relaxing, eating like a pig. 30-40MPH Winds at times kept me at bay. Isabella looked like the ocean this weekend. Found a spot on the river and had a consistant bite... Hit Isabella this morning with Poacher John for a few hours to land some. Was tough today, water temp was 58 in the morning and 61 by noon. Put the fish on lockjaw. Mid morning I thought I had the state record crappie on the end of my line and it turned out to be a 4 pound carp lol. Never had a carp inhale a mini jig before....... Didn't take too many pics had a great time I'm tired as hell. Also did manage to catch the worlds smallest crappie, the mini jig was the same size as him...lol

I had a great time. my liver did'nt. Thanks for waiting out the wind. Going to go see if the crappie are on shore yet. I'll post later if they are.
