On their annual LA Sheriffs' May getaway in June Lake all had a great time.

nice looking bows and brownie ,,,I love Lundy the water looks way down guess their expecting lots of snow melt.

Got back from Lundy on the 22nd. It was filling fast. The day before we left I measured the rise and I was amazed that it was filling at about 1 inch an hour. In the 5 hours we were there that day it had risen about 5 inches. It must be full by now.

Fishing was slow but we did get some bites on power bait. Color didn’t seem to matter.
FYI. If you are planning on camping at Lundy camp ground below the lake. We had a bear come through the last night we were there. We were in site # 35 (the last one towards the lake). Yes we were not too careful about the food but that was the 1st time we had this problem in the 20 years I have been going there.

Could have been worse if your cooler was in the car. Looks like he left you some left overs.

Does Lundy have bear boxes in the campground? I haven't been there to the camp, just fish. I had a friend who put his backpack in the bear box, then didn't shut door. A bear ran off with his pack like a dog with a bone.
Whitney Portal bears are some of the most brazen if come across. It's the bears world and we're just visitors.
