Good job staying after em.

The conditions in the photos don't look so bad considering what mother nature has been giving us up north a bit. Ah photos can be deceiving though.

Mann, I wish there was a sandy bottom. It was all rocks and kelp lol. Waves were just starting to lull a bit, but still troublesome when huge kelp stringers are running into your line. Thanks for the props

Nicely done for a new spot. If you are out there next time without bait try finding a old cup or container so you can dig up some sand crabs, dime to nickel sizes work best. I use to hit the shores at clemente and the sand crabs worked great and plenty of them, although if you come across one with eggs let it be, you can see them attached to the abdomen.

lol im not a newb. The first spot had no crabs with very coarse sand. Oside was softshell heaven, but alas no spotfin. Thanks for the reply.
