5/27 SC Pier

Went down to the Pier with my Dad and My little Dude Nate. It was cool to have three generations out there fishing together! :Big Grin:

We decided to forgo the CRACK and went with the Squid. Everything was rigged Carolina with a number 6 hook with a strip of squid. We ended up getting 3 Yellowfin Croaker, 1 spot fin croaker and 1 perch. All fish were CPR'd. It was fun for 3 hours of fishing!

I tried something different today also, i rigged a small spinning reel onto one of my 8'6" fly rods. It made the fish seem twice as big and was a fun fight.

On another note there was a Big Pelican that my son tried to get close to, he is a fearless four year old... It almost bit his head!
