Dana point harbor

Decided that I would go and fish the harbor this morning. Went to the island by the harbor patrol to fish the mouth. First cast on the new Curado and backlash! After about 5 min of clean up and some adjusting. Started casting great. Got one good solid bite! But no catch. There for about 2 hours. Going to try the small jetty tomorrow and hopefully kill it!!

This area is great for ninja bassing.

If the waves weren't so big I would say to hit Doheny from the surf.

You can be cited for fishing in a restricted area. I've seen some nice trespassing fines from a few people.
