If my buddy and I were to head out tomorrow 5-20 in search of the cudas where would be a good place to start? We are going to be taking out his Parker for the 1st time this year and figured targeting them with surface irons would be much more fun than rock fish.

From what I understand they're all along the Socal coastline, but SMB bay seems to have them thick!

Actually they were biting in the bay today - not like they were on Sunday before the storm but they are still around.

How close are the cudas? Are they close enough to the point that one could catch them on the breakwater?

Sunday they were 3/4 mile outside KH.

Maybe, Yesterday spent 2 hours tossing LCs, Krocs, Kastmaster at KH JCS.
Nothing, no bait seen, no birds. no power plant bubble on since the sardine die off.

Seen DFG 1/2 dozen times in the last month at KH. :Secret:
