So with trout fishing being good the other day, i got a call/invite from Mike Traut, Corey and Casey to join them for more trolling slay sessions...
The guys got to the lake earlier and not to my surprise had began the stringer of fish by the time i put my foot on Mike and his brothers slick river fishing boat. Me and Mike had some new areas to troll/share with the guys and it was on....by the time Casey put his line out, we were saying that the bites been hot, so watch your lines...bam- fish on within 5 minutes...
Later, we started doing some runs that immediately brought a double hookup for Corey and Casey which reminded me of past trips to Bridgeport in the Sierras...fish were being metered accross the lake, so that shows the trout are well and feeding just as good as the other fish...not to mention how stuffed they're fighting and looking.
I started checking out Mikes tackle and he had some sweet lures that i wanted to pull- he said have at it kewly...i quickly saw one of the slick river2sea lures i wanted, and tossed it out- then all 4 rods went off within 10 minutes! Mikes hottest lure was slaying 5 to 1...and it was no longer available...and if i said it, i would no longer have arms available! ahahah jk...lets just say its a sierra special...all the rods got action as the lures put out were going off...
We ended the day at 12pm with full limits- just as the winds picked up more, and the temperatures dropped.
Lures of the day:
River2Sea(s), Luhr Jensens...(ask meldog)

TIGHT LINES!
