Well got the word that they planted the upper with 2000 or so pounds of trout at the west ramp.
Made on the lake around 20 minute after the plant.
Wind was questionable for latter today to turn to a North west wind.
Got over to the west ramp and had a stocker trout setup for the soft bait and a KPN big dog for topwater,
only problem was as is much like it's been all year nobody told the stripers...
We watched the movement of the trout, they were balling up in lifeguard cove around the ramp and by the dock.
wind kept getting stronger and stronger, we were tossing baits and waiting for a sign, boil, trout getting chased, nothing.
The trout were nice 9 inch to 12 inch models, so while I was waiting i tried on a crappy jig and started filling my limit, Made sure tht each one was dead before it went into the well...
wind started to crank gas it went by the west ramp and I new it was only going to get worse so I called it and put the boat back on the trailer and headed for the goon to soak some DAD's good choice, it was nice down there wind hadn't made its way down there yet only us and Max in his infaltable and
