I decided to hop on the Tradition because of all the cuda being caught. We went out Sunday 5/16 with around 15 anglers ready for some action. There was some wind and rain in the morning but we weren't going to let that stop us. We started by looking around for schools when all of a sudden Captain Steve told us to get ready because other boats had found them. As soon as we arrived at the school it was instant bendo for just about everyone throwing the iron. We caught about 25 to 30 cuda on that spot. Several anglers were so excited that by wanting to bounce the cuda they just popped the iron out of the cudas mouth. We then had to find them and do it all over run n' gun style fishing. We did this throughout the morning and were rewarded with around 100 cuda for 15 anglers which isn't bad at all. The wind started picking up around noon so we had to call it early and head back in. The crew did an outstanding job by helping everyone. I suggest you guys get out for the cuda bite on the Tradition and enjoy the awesome fishing.

Good pics. Great job on the Slimey Sticks.

I wonder about the condition of the meat ? Many reports of how they should be bleed and iced.
With a am bite then 6 hours in a gunny sack, of couse on a 3/4 day it could be difficult.

Is there a difference ? Same goes with Tuna, YT, Bonito ect ?

Since I could bleed them and put them immediately on ice, I knew the condition of the meat would be ideal.
Hook up! Cory

Last week my friend and I donated a limit combined to a fishing friend of mine who is out of commission until October due to having major back surgery in January. All my fish were promptly bled and hung up by looped fishing lines and watered frequently, and when filleted they were in very good condition.

Once in the fillet bag they were put in a cooler and topped with a bag of ice ($2 at Captain Kidd's) and sent over to his house.
