Has anyone used these hooks on a drop shot rig? I've got a couple of packs of size 10 that I'd like to try on a drop shot setup for panfish. They are very fine wire with a tiny barb and a large gap. Look great for 2 lb test.

I usually use owner 8, 10 or 12 size hooks, never tried gamagatsus that small but I do use them size 1 and up.

i have and i am very satisfied with the results. the gamakatsu hooks dont tear plastics like the owner or egg hooks while giving the worm more action. also when you change your bait it can be reused. i bought 1 pack to try them out but after a brief outing (wind killed me) these will be my new plastic hooks.

MP- I am not going to be using plastics, although I may give a small worm or tube bait a try. I'll be using crickets, waxworms and earthworms primarily...

I haven't found the 2 lb plus bluegill schools yet. But, I was able to get (5) 1/2 gills today. But I got them all on fathead minnows.

Right now fishing is slow up here. Only small bluegill & perch are being caught

I've seen them before.. they really dont look much different than gamakatsu's Drop-shot hooks..

but either way, they look great for trout/panfish. Gamakatsus are my brand of choice, reliable, and good price for quality.
