Hey guys-

Headed up to the sierras tomorrow morning at 3am....that should put me to Bishop early morning. I am staying in a cabin in Mammoth but check in is not until 5pm. Any suggestion on a route to fish? I'd like to hit up some good spots on the way in....thoughts? Has anyone been to Bishop Creek lately?

Try convict and mammoth creeks, make sure use a 2lbs test
castmaster and rooster tail works the best,

Make a stop at Convict, PVR, or Intake 2 and toss some Z-Spoons!

Most the waters off 395 are good right now. I make several stops, starting typically in Lone Pine and work my way up through different spots. Lower Owens is usually a good bet but its pretty blown out for now. Lone Pine, Big Pine, Independence, Bishop, Pine, and Rock Creeks all have good fishing within 15 minutes of the highway. Crowley is on your right before Convict. Convict Lake, the Bishop Lakes Loop, Rock Creek Lake, and PVR are all easily accessed from 395. Don't fish Mammoth Creek, that puddle has no feesh! :Secret:
