What is this crack bait?

Hello to all I am new to this surf fishing sport and have only attempted it twice with a few fish caught on sand crabs and the gulp sand worms, but now I am interested in this crack bait everyone on here is talking about, so can someone please fill me in please......by the way I am addicted to this sport now thanks for all the tals and chats fellows...

They are referring to gulp sand worms so it looks like you are already on the right track.

Can be found on nearly every street corner in LA / OC. It might cost you a pretty penny but it works wonnnders :P
