Or lack of. After reading the LNL fish report, I believed that the bass were on a comeback. You should never believe everything you read. We got on the lake at 6:00, off the lake at 1:00. We threw buzzbaits, chatterbaits, swimbaits, cranks, d/s, split shot, senkos and jigs. We had 2-3 bites and ended the day with one small bass. We did talk to the new owner for a while, seemed like a good guy. He told us that he is trying to find bass to put in the lake, but having problems finding bass big enough that the Cormorants can't eat. Also mentioned that people fishing for other stocked fish (trout and catfish) are keeping the bass they catch. Grrrr... meat fishermen! :mad:
