Hey Huck, were those weeds I saw next to the snow and ice in the Twin Lakes Mammoth phote? I it was that place is going to be tooooough to fish this year. Usually the weeds die off in the winter.

Yep you could see a lot of weeds under the ice by the bridge too.

I'm curious, you said you started fishing at midnight, I thought the season didn't actually open until one hour before sunrise...

That would be in Mono County.
In Inyo you can fish at midnight.
We saw the same two DFG guys, they caught a couple of guys like 3 or 4 with their nets full of fish, they got escorted out of the area

Nice trip Huck,the pics are great feel like im there. I got sidelined a day before i was ready to take off up there. has anyone stayed at the campsites at twin lakes? im thinking of doing a few days there at the end of june, if i can get some feed back would be nice. Ill be flying it from a tube.
