Ive been looking at this lake for about three weeks now. And with all the myths about this place i see no real info.
does anyone know if there are fish in there? has anyone ever fished it did you catch anything.
I think it is ok to say that you have ninja the place before without legal issues, right?
You cant be arrested for somthing you did not get caught doing, thats like arresting someone for smoking weed a week ago.

Remember if they call the cops for trespassing its less than 5 minutes to the sheriff headquarters there...idk about you but I find other fisherman don't take well to people fishing w/o permission on their property. Given the lake's proximity to Sierra Highway (and, once again, the nearby police station), trespassing just seems like a lot of risk. I do know people who have fished there legally, and they weren't awed by the fishery. Mostly smaller bass and gills, and some cats. Maybe getting shot at or arrested is game enough for yourself to catch some small fish but myself...no thanks.

Una is a weird lake. Has small bass and gills and cats but every now and then the lake burps up gases that pretty much kills all the fish. t\The biggest population of wild life is turtles. Lots of red ear turtles. Place is not worth the effort imo. Fished it one time with Bill doing a lake clean up and didnt get a bite. But saw 100's of turtles sunning them selves on the shoreline.
