CATFISH CO-OP 2 !! LETS GET READY FOLKS!!

Hello beautiful people of FNN! Its that time to go out and compete for this
years CO-OP trophy! Dont miss out on this event! Spread the word! Come
out and tan,sweat,chill out with great friends,meet new ones,share great laughs,
great summer weather,great food,and great fishing!We will be camping the friday night before this event inside of the lake.The area where we will be camping with be (TBA).

This event will be held from 6am-12:15am.We will start bar b queing at 11am,and start eatting at will. We will also be holding a decent size raffle around or a little after lunch.
We will be doing most of the fun early so we can get out on the lake and slay those
kitty kittys!! So if you would like to donate anything to the raffle please shoot me a pm or you can give me a call straight on my cell.

I will post this years CO-OP trophy as soon as I can figure out whch one looks the best.
We might even have the heaviest stringer award,lets see what I can come up with.
I will also have some " Skunk" awards to pass out to those who were not lucky enough to catch any kittys ! You must be registered to participate in this event.

Catfishing is diff from bass,trout,or crappie fishing..well..kinda.Its like 109 degrees during day,and like 82 during night.You can fish all day if u like.Thats why its from 8am-11:30 pm!

You can camp anywhere you want.I'm pretty sure most of the group would like to camp near each other so we can throw up a camp fire,or a grill to eat after we finsh fishing.You can camp up front,the flats,woodys cove.Oh and if you camp with us,the sites will already be paid for,if you camp on your own,regular Irvine camp fees will apply.So you have some choices! Hey Hitts , Not sure I am going to make it . My Mom had eye cataract surgery a week ago and I thought by the 23 rd she would be down to two eye drops a day . She has to have eye drops 4 times a day for two more weeks . Then 3 times a day for a week . Then 2 times a day for a week .And finally eye drops once a day for a week.

Wow I really wish I could make this trip. This is my first season focusing on freshwater fishing and I could have really used some tips from all the great anglers!! Not to mention I also cook and judge competition BBQ!!

Unfortunately i'll be camping the entire weekend and hopefully landing some nice bass.

I spoke with Hitts and since I am pretty close to a good spot to get 'em I am going to be hitting up the pier friday evening to load up a cooler full of fresh mackerel. I'll be coming down to the lake Saturday morning and keeping the mackerel whole and on ice over night on friday. If anyone needs it, it will be there for use but keep in mind I can only fill one decent size cooler and still bring my other stuff so take only a few if ya need em.

Good times await on Saturday! In you missed it earlier in the thread Team57 will be in the same spot as last year's Co-Op, just drive all the way back to the flats (get map at tackle shop for you new comers) and make a left JUST past the gate....you can't miss us! Although cooler temperatures are predicted, if you have an E-Z up please being it for shade. I have a fold up table and maybe 2, but if you have one please bring that as well as there are no benches back in that area. Been getting lots of messages regarding pontoons and boats, so if you are looking to split the costs you are sure to meet someone at the bbq looking to do the same. See you out there!
