Hey Everybody, just wanted to let you all know that the fishing at the north end of the Salton Sea is HOT!!! Not the weather! The tilapia were actively biting last week when I stopped by. Unfortunately, I was on duty and couldn't fish...but wow, these tilapia were real good size...I saw on some other fishing report that some were up to 3 pounds...that may be an exageration, I don't know-I didn't see them myself...but it's possible. Nightcrawlers are working perfectly with these fish. The State Park, the old Yacht Club(now a museum) and other northern Salton Sea locations are REAL HOT right now....Check it out and have some fun...This would be great for the kids...actually catching fish...and on every cast too!:Shocked:
