A buddy of mine living in Del mar is looking for a Spinning Rod and Reel set up to fish swimbaits, LCs you name it while wading the surf.
Anyone down there that would like to assist him get set up and add a few pointers ? Should be a good chance to sell something off you no longer want or need. And to pass on some info about the sport.
I said he should look into the Shimano CSS86 ML 2A rod and a Stradic FI 4000 as a good start. I don't think he's ready for a baitcaster yet.
He checked out FNN for the first time last night and I guess will sign up soon.
